Contextual Studies

Contextual Studies is the study of artists in history or modern day and their work.  I take the work of famous artists, comparing and contrasting them.  I bring elements out of their work, such as colour, line, tone or technique and combine them to create new pieces.  As I move further on into the course, this will develop completely into my own work.  My chosen artists are Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.
