I have been working on my exhibition poster this evening. It’s only a rough draft but I thought I’d put it up to see how it looks on my page. I’m not sure if I’m going to go with this format since the text is very awkward and also quite dull.
This is the text supplied by the college, and I’m going to check with my tutor if I can change it around a bit. I’m also not so sure about the grey background. It looked better in Photoshop when I could only see parts of it! I may try another washed out colour instead. If you want to have a closer look, please click to enlarge.
I’ve updated it, and added a nice touch of blue to it, and I think it looks a bit better.

I really like these colors! And there appears to be some nice textures on the piece as well, too bad the texture won't be present on the posters. Very cool piece Heather!
Thank you Mark! I agree about the textures on the posters, but if anyone wants to see them they can go to the exhibition, and they could even but it! Hehe. Thank you for stopping by. Hope you are well.
I agree with you Heather that the second one is better. Have you tried white or is that a "no-no". I can barely read the print and that, I think is important. Another color that may allow the print to show is that raw sienna color. I wonder if you used that there would be a little more visibility to the print.
Thank you Leslie. I have changed some bits in it, and have made some of the text a very light blue-almost white colour. I tried a raw sienna colour but I wasn't keen on it. I have also made the text larger and bolder, so hopefully it'll look better when it's printed off.
That sounds good. What is the technorati thing?
Hi Leslie. Tehcnorati is a blog register (probably the biggest), that's all!
