It was a bit treacherous weather-wise as the snow won’t stop coming, but I’m not one to let that get in my way. It took an hour and a half to get in today, whereas it usually takes a half hour, but as long as you’re careful you’ll stay safe, well as long as no-one slides all over the road!
I got in and gave the girls the Christmas presents I made them, and they were delighted with them. They even suggested I make more and sell them. It’s a possibility. After I gave them their presents, I was given some too.
Catherine got me an absolutely beautiful hand-stitched/bound journal (2.75 x 3.265in) with a little memento pouch in it from Paperblanks, and a little glass heart for me to do what I want with it. I’m thinking of making a little necklace with it. She also drew a little cartoon sketch of me in the journal, with brilliant writing on the t-shirt, which I thought was hilarious and very cute. I just love this little book, and I can’t wait to start putting my marks in it.
I also forgot to show this little trinket that Ana made me in class. It’s a bit out of focus, but I thought it was very sweet. I love handmade gifts. They’re the best!
Oh, and my tutor was more than happy with the paintings for Analytical Drawing. I was so relieved. All that stressing out for nothing then!
