Christmas Card
I wanted to make something Christmassy to give a little festive cheer to all my blog friends, so I painted this card earlier using acrylic paint, some hessian and tin foil. I will try to paint something a little more festive in the next few days, but for now this is my Christmas card to you all.

It’s funny, I’ve only been off on holiday for 2 days and I feel compelled to paint, and I’ve been feeling antsy all day because I’ve not done something. During term time I didn’t want to do anything at the weekend except relax, and now that I’m on holiday all I want to do is paint and create! It’s a strange old world.
Inspirational Art Blogs
I’ve been trawling blogs searching for inspiration and new techniques. I found quite a number of really interesting sites with fabulous artists. All of these artists are mixed media artists who produce truly inspirational work, and I hope to learn a lot from them. Please check these pages out to see their wonderful work.

Your Christmas card is totally you, Heather!
Thank you Leslie! I know it's not the most festive, but it's probably as festive as I can do lol.
I think it is very festive. The red and then rich look of gold gives that away. Too eccentric for a valentine, so I vote Christmas card!
Hahaha. No not a valentine card. I think it has the festive colours and richness, but there's no sign of a tree or santa! That's what I mean by it's not the most festive. Lol.
there you are.
i missed a few people when i switched blogs.
Sorry.
it looks festive to me
Hi Kokot! Good to see you again. Your blog looks lovely. It's very clean and bright. I approve lol.
Hi Heather, This is such a cool and festive design! I like the grid structure; nice repeats. And, you included one of my favorite Sesame Street Songs: one of these things is not like the other ones! As a design element, it works for me!
Great blog and thanks for adding me to your "Cool People"
