Just a quick update on my project painting. I had a play about with it after I posted my last image, and I’m much happier with it now. I still have a few bits and pieces to do to it, but I wouldn’t think it will be much as I really like where it has gone. It has a flow to it, but also a frenetic pace, which I think is definitely a reflection of me and my music. For instance I love the floatiness of, say, a Radiohead song, but I also love the energy and hectic pace of thrash or death metal. So, I think it fits me pretty well!
Hi Heather. I like it too. Do you want the boat to be the most prominant feature of you? Right now, that’s where my eye wants to stop. Maybe because it doesn’t have so many elements to it. Love this project and following it though. I’m learning.
Thanks Leslie. The boat isn’t to be the most prominent feature, and after reading your comment, I went back and worked over it to take the focus away. It’s looking a bit wild, but I’m really enjoying it.
